Atlanta producer Stephen Satterfield explores even more of Black America's food history with new season of 'High on the Hog'
“Sorely overdue” – that’s how New York Times journalist Osayi Endolyn described the Netflix series “High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America.”
In the show’s widely acclaimed first season, host Stephen Satterfield embarked on a journey through America’s past, enriched by the lesser known histories of Black food tradition that fueled and inspired generations.
“High on the Hog” recently returned with season two, featuring a new assembly of storytellers and story-rich flavors.
On Tuesday, Satterfield joined “City Lights with Lois Reitzes” to discuss what we can expect from the upcoming season!
The series is currently available to stream on Netflix.
