Out On Film And Atlanta Pride Celebrate ’50 Years Of LGBT Cinema’
This June marks the 50th anniversary of The Stonewall Riots. Stonewall was among the most pivotal moments in American history and especially for the LGBTQ community.
To honor the observance, Out on Film is working with Atlanta Pride to present the series, “50 Years of LGBT Cinema.” They will look at five decades post-Stonewall.
All films are free and there will be a discussion at the end of each screening. Lois Reitzes spoke with the director of the festival, Jim Farmer about what these movies entail.
