Georgians may soon have a reprieve from robocalls.  State Attorney General Chris Carr has joined a group of 52 attorneys general calling on USTelecom to develop technology that would help states enforce laws against illegal robocalls.

USTelecom is the leading organization representing telecommunications providers.

In a letter, Carr and the other attorneys general asked USTelecom to develop tools that will help trace robocalls and provide information about the calls to law enforcement.

These new measures could potentially stop a live robocall campaign in its tracks.
