Emory Professor Talks About Pressure To Boycott Ga. Businesses For Not Speaking Out Against New Voting Law

The fallout from Georgia’s new voting law continues after Major League Baseball announced its plans Friday to move this summer’s All-Star Game from Georgia.
The decision is drawing harsh criticism from Republicans, including Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.
Still, others, including former President Barack Obama, are publicly supporting MLB’s move.
This decision from MLB comes amid calls to boycott corporations that don’t publicly speak out against Georgia’s new law.
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Emory University’s Goizueta Business School Professor Ray Hill joined the program for a conversation about the effectiveness of these boycotts.
