AGCO Agriculture Foundation Helps Local, Global Communities Combat Hunger

With a global footprint of preventing and combating hunger through agricultural development, a Duluth-based private foundation is helping refugees in Clarkston and communities throughout the world.

According to the AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF) website, the foundation was launched in 2018. AGCO Corporation is an agricultural machinery manufacturing company and AAF stands as its philanthropic arm.

On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Metti Richenhagen, the managing director of AAF, talked with show host Rose Scott about the foundation’s global response during the COVID-19 pandemic and a partnership with the Global Growers Network (GGN) to help renovate the Clarkston International Garden.
