Rideshare company Lyft announced Monday that it has launched a teen-centered version of the service, available to residents in Atlanta, New York City and over 200 other major markets nationwide.

Lyft Teen allows people ages 13-17 to request rides through the app from profiles created by their parents. The launch comes nearly three years after rival Uber released its own teen-focused account options.

Only verified Lyft accounts will be allowed to create teen profiles.
