DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County is looking to launch a comprehensive planning and design effort for a police and fire training center to consolidate public safety training facilities in the county.
The county would use special-purpose local option sales tax funds for the project.
“The project consists of architectural and engineering planning services to evaluate existing public safety training facilities and develop conceptual design alternatives, feasibility studies, site evaluations, and preliminary cost estimates for future training facility development,” the SPLOST project initiation package says.
