PINE LAKE, Ga. — DeKalb County’s smallest city is in a big uproar after the mayor announced her resignation on March 20.
Pine Lake Mayor Brandy Hall made the announcement on March 20. She is leaving after a decade of service to the city of about 750 people. The reasons are personal and complicated, and include disagreement with the current city council members, according to an email obtained by Decaturish.
Hall did not return messages seeking comment. Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Goldberg said the council will respond soon.
