In the world of Muppets, mischief abounds. The finer points of Muppet misbehavior will enjoy a thorough examination in “Affectionate Anarchy: Muppet Prank Culture,” a live discussion on April 1 with a panel of legendary Muppeteers including Bonnie Erickson, puppet designer and creator of Miss Piggy, Statler and Waldorf — and Frank Oz, actor, director and puppeteer of many Muppets, Piggy included.

A new exhibition on Muppet prank culture, “Affectionate Anarchy: Creating with Jim Henson,” follows the panel event and is on view from April 2 to Oct. 26 at the Center for Puppetry Arts. “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes was joined by Erickson and Center for Puppetry Arts interim museum director Jill Nash Malool to discuss the playful antics of muppets.
