Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph Talks About Her Time On ‘One Mississippi’

Sheryl Lee Ralph is a star of the stage and the screen.
She is one of the original “Dreamgirls,” and she is also known for the ’90s sitcom “Moesha,” where she played Moesha’s stepmother Dee.
Ralph is now co-starring in Tig Notaro’s Amazon series “One Mississippi,” where she plays Felicia Hollingsworth, the love interest of Notaro’s stepfather, Bill.
“Her, with all her quirks, I was able to understand Felicia immediately, and I don’t know why,” said Ralph in an interview with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes. “She is very strange. She is definitely the yin to Bill’s yang. And we know how weird Bill is, and the two of them are just magic together.”
