A new traveling exhibition recently arrived at the High Museum of Art, the first of its kind in collecting decades’ worth of work by the pioneering fiber and multimedia artist Sonya Clark.
In the exhibition “We Are Each Other,” Clark’s creations reflect whole communities and countless lives in their construction and materials and invite rich reflection on history, racial injustice and reconciliation. Sonya Clark’s works are on view at the High Museum through Feb. 18, 2024.
In this interview, “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes is joined by the High’s curator of decorative arts and design, Monica Obniski, co-curator of the exhibit.
