Each month, Rick joins “City Lights” as our travel contributor and shares his advice on making the most of your time away from Atlanta.

In today’s interview, Rick Steves spoke with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes about shopping for gifts and souvenirs when traveling abroad to Europe. 

“If you go to the big department stores, they’ve always got a local souvenir department there and it’s far less expensive than the touristy shops on the main square,” Steves advised.
