The Atlanta Ballet begins a new season with a new fellowship program. Atlanta Ballet 2 helps young dancers take the leap from the studio to the stage. Program members will dance in Atlanta Ballet’s large-scale productions but also have a few select performances of their own.

This weekend, they perform a one-hour production of “Beauty and the Beast” that is geared toward young audiences. “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with guest choreographer Bruce Wells along with Atlanta Ballet artistic director Gennadi Nedvigin.
