BeltLine CEO, President Talks New Special Service District For Funding Completion Of 22-Mile Loop

When it was first conceived, the Atlanta BeltLine was called an “ambitious project”: A 22-mile, multi-use loop connecting the city of Atlanta via trails, pathways, housing and transit.

How close is all of this to being completed by 2030, as initially planned?

BeltLine President and CEO Clyde Higgs joined “Closer Look” host Rose Scott for a conversation about a new special service district — recently approved by the Atlanta City Council — which he says is key to fully funding the completion of the loop.
