With spring festivals postponed or canceled due to the pandemic, many musicians and bands have had to reschedule their tours or take a loss.

Doghouse Atlanta Channel is helping musicians continue their performances by livestream.

Andrew Riley, the founder of Doghouse, has partnered with Stanwood Studios in Atlanta to create the “New Wave Festival.”

It was a livestreamed concert event that was created to raise funds for freelance artists who had to cancel performances due to COVID-19.

“City Lights” producer Summer Evans spoke with Andrew Riley and Pace Maynard of Universal Sigh — a band that participated in the festival.
