Ethereal Sounds Fill the Air in Atlanta

The Choir of Boys and Men of Gloucester Cathedral sings at the Cathedral of St. Philip

Edited and Produced by Wanda Yang Temko

– Regularly heard on British television and radio, the choir of Gloucester Cathedral dates back more than 450 years, founded by King Henry VIII. You may recognize the cathedral itself because the cloisters were used as the hallowed halls of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Under the direction of Adrian Partington, the choir of boys and men will sing at the Cathedral of St. hilip this Friday night. Wanda Yang Temko spoke with Helen Sims, the music and liturgical administrator for the cathedral, and Kevin Kwan, the organ scholar.
