Facing stiff competition for workers, Atlanta Hawks ramp up recruitment efforts

From the moment potential new hires walk through the doors of State Farm Arena, it’s clear that this won’t be the normal job interview. There’s a DJ, music and even a pep talk.

“Everybody fired up and ready to go?” exclaimed Atlanta Hawks’ executive LaTonya DeBruce. “Everybody gonna get this job?”

DeBruce started with the Hawks as a part-time employee three years ago. Now she works for the team full time and is helping to prep job seekers for their interview.
