Reality Winner. It’s a name you’re not likely to forget, even if you’ve already forgotten why it rings a bell.

Winner is the former intelligence specialist who leaked a report about attempted Russian interference in the 2016 elections. At the time, she worked in Augusta — and in 2018 she received the longest sentence ever imposed for a media leak of its type.

She’s out now. And the podcast “Click Here” traveled to west Texas to get Winner’s side of the story.

Dina Temple-Raston is the podcast’s host. When she spoke with WABE’s “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress, he asked what about Reality Winner surprised her.
