Georgia Tech President Shares His Vision For University Following One Year In Office

For college students and professors across the nation, including here in Georgia, it’s been a school year of constant changes.

Some of these institutions of higher learning began the school year offering only virtual classes; others began in-person or with a mix of both options.

But now, many are starting to wonder: What does the next academic year hold?

Georgia Tech recently announced changes to its spring 2021 academic calendar, including a delayed start date and a no weeklong spring break.

On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Georgia Tech President Àngel Cabrera joined host Rose Scott for a conversation about his vision for the university amid the pandemic, following his first year in office.
