Judge extends deadline for Fani Willis' replacement in Georgia election interference case

A Fulton County judge is allowing more time for a replacement to be appointed for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on the 2020 Georgia election interference case, which includes the indictment of President Donald Trump.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing the case, has now set the appointment deadline for Nov. 14, 2025, at 12 p.m.
