Kennesaw State and Southern Polytechnic to Merge: A Talk with KSU President Dr. Dan Papp

  On Friday, November 1, 2013, University System of Georgia chancellor Hank Huckaby announced the planned merger of Southern Polytechnic State University with Kennesaw State University.

If approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Board of Regents, the merger would take effect in January, 2015.

The combined schools would keep the name of Kennesaw State, and KSU president Dr. Dan Papp would be president of the new university.  Papp spoke with WABE’s Denis O’Hayer.
