Julianne Thompson, a Republican strategist and the president of Main Street Network Strategies, says candidates with television ads have a better chance of reaching their audience.

Thompson and Fred Hicks, an Atlanta-based political strategist and analyst, were guests on Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look.”

They talked with program host Rose Scott about several election-related topics, including the costs and the effectiveness of campaign ads and the first debate of the Republican primary for governor.

Hicks further shared his predictions about who he thinks will win several key elections in Georgia.
