Georgia House of Representatives Majority Leader Chuck Efstration says Gwinnett County has grown over the years and is a special place to live. However, he shared on Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look” that his constituents have growing concerns about heavy traffic in the Northeastern region of the county.

To provide a solution and give residents more control of zoning and planning decisions, Efstration sponsored House Bill 869.

The measure, along with Senate Bill 333, are two bills being proposed to the Georgia General Assembly that support the creation of the City of Mulberry. Efstration spoke with host Rose Scott about the legislation that has been heavily opposed by Gwinnett County commissioners.
