Marlon Wayans has been coming to Atlanta for 30 years—long enough to remember getting chased through Phipps Plaza by 5,000 fans when he was 19. Now, just as he’s wrapped filming on “Scary Movie 6” at Tyler Perry Studios, he’s considering making the move permanent.

In a conversation with WABE’s Kenny Murry, Wayans discussed why Atlanta has always felt like home, what he learned from working with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, and why the city could become the base for the production empire he’s building.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with some great actors and legends like Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock. What I’ve learned from watching them is how kind they are on set, how approachable they are, how respectful they are to the crew.”
