New Zealand’s The Beths took the indie music scene by storm in 2018 with their debut release, “Future Me Hates Me.” Pitchfork hailed the infectious and energetic album as “one of the most impressive indie-rock debuts of the year.” Their second record, “Jump Rope Gazers,” came out in 2020 and explores the unique changes that happen when you quit your day job to play music and tour full time. And tour they have – they made their way around the UK and Europe with Death Cab for Cutie, and now they are headlining their own American tour to support their 3rd album, “Expert in a Dying Field.”

The Beths will be in Atlanta tomorrow, March 7, at the Masquerade. Lead vocalist and guitarist Liz Stokes joined Senior Producer Kim Drobes to speak more about their music and upcoming tour.
