Nick Offerman Promotes All Kinds Of Facial Hair In Standup Tour

When mustached, Nick Offerman seems exactly like the legendary character he portrayed on “Parks and Recreation:” Ron Swanson. Swanson is a government employee who hates the government, enjoys eating red meat, and makes beautiful furniture out of wood.

Woodworking is really the only thing Swanson and Offerman have in common. Offerman has released two books about woodworking and operates his own wood shop.

The comedian, actor and carpenter is coming through Atlanta for his “Full Bush” stand-up tour Thursday evening at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Offerman about why he keeps doing stand up, facial hair, working with his wife Megan Mullally and the Cubs.
