Recently, Northwestern University President Michael Schill resigned after pressure from the government, which claimed the school was out of compliance by not totally disbanding its DEI programs. Earlier this year, University of Virginia President James Ryan also stepped down, facing similar accusations and political pressure from the Trump administration.
