You need not own a hot rod or watch NASCAR to know that a car can be a thing of great beauty. Last year, we spoke with Bruce Patton, director of curatorial services at the Savoy Automobile Museum about their “Fabulous Fins” exhibition showing off the slick and snazzy designs of 1950s and ‘60s automobiles.
Now, the museum takes us back another few decades to a time of tremendous style — 1930s European Art Deco.
The “Rolling Sculptures” exhibition is on view at the Savoy Automobile Museum through March 31. In this interview, Patton joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk more about the exhibit.
