Santa Dee, also known as The Real Black Santa, has been making spirits bright and spreading holiday cheer for 24 years. He sees his work as a calling and is using his gift to inspire the next generation of Santas through the Santas of Color Coalition.
On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Santa Dee took a break from the North Pole to talk with show host Rose Scott. During the conversation, he talked about his faith and the overwhelming amount of joy he feels when he sees a smile on a child’s face.
He further explained how he’s spreading holiday cheer in the aftermath of an election year, his coalition, the growing demand for more Black Santas, and his hopes to open a Santa school.
