Among Beethoven’s concerto compositions, “The Triple Concerto” is the work that is least often played and is something of a rarity.

Classical music lovers in Atlanta will have the chance to hear the unusual piece on April 3 and 4, when the Atlanta Symphony will feature Beethoven’s Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano with Concertmaster David Coucheron, Acting Principal Cellist Daniel Laufer and pianist Julie Coucheron with the Orchestra conducted by Nathalie Stutzmann.

The trio of soloists joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss the concert.
