The Georgia Republican Party’s 2023 State Convention opened Friday, starting just a day after convention speaker and former president Donald Trump announced he was indicted on federal charges.
NPR reports the 37 counts are related to Trump storing classified documents at his Florida home, including charges related to making false statements and obstructing the investigation.
