The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that families not travel or congregate in groups outside of their immediate household this holiday season in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
You may be wondering how that will look in terms of what is arguably the most important part of Thanksgiving: the food.
Many restaurants and pop-ups in Atlanta are offering a wide selection of Thanksgiving Day meals to-go. But don’t sleep on these offers. Most of these eateries have cut-off dates to place an order or expect to sell out.
Buckhead
The restaurant group responsible for Bar Mercado, Cooks & Soldiers, Iberian Pig, Recess and Sugo is taking the best elements of each to create a classic Thanksgiving meal. Order by Sunday, Nov. 22, and pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at any Castellucci location. (Inman Park, Westside, Buckhead, Decatur, Johns Creek)

Decatur
Pre-order a turkey breast roulade with gravy, root veg gratin, garlic green beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread dressing and an apple-cranberry crumble with vanilla ice cream for four to be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 24 or Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Souper Jenny is offering all the Thanksgiving Day classics for pickup at any of their locations (Brookhaven, Buckhead, Decatur, Roswell, Westside). There is a $60 minimum, and the order must be placed by Saturday, Nov. 21, and picked up by Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Downtown
Ray’s is offering Thanksgiving meal kits for four. Orders must be made by Monday, Nov. 23, and picked up the following Tuesday or Wednesday at any Ray’s location Downtown, Sandy Springs or Alpharetta.
East Lake
Offering your choice of smoked turkey or brisket with all of the traditional sides. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, 3% of all holiday sales will go to Wholesome Wave to support SNAP recipients in Atlanta.
Glenwood
Chef Kevin Gillespie is offering a German feast for two this year for Thanksgiving.
Featuring raised pork shank, French onion spaetzli, German potato salad and kohlrabi rotkohl, sauerkraut, beer mustard, pickled lunch box peppers and apple strudel. Order ASAP and pick up Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Inman Park
Delbar is offering a Middle Eastern feast for Thanksgiving. You can get a whole shawarma spiced roasted lamb leg and all of the authentic sides. Requires 48 hours’ notice, and you can pick up on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hampton and Hudson
Hampton and Hudson in Inman Park is offering meals for two and four people for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Kirkwood
Offering Thanksgiving mains and sides to feed six to eight people. Must place an order by Thursday, Nov. 19, and pick up Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Little Five Points
Offering Thanksgiving dinners for four to 10 guests with your choice of turkey, ham or brisket and all the sides for pickup before Thanksgiving Day. They expect to sell out soon!
Marietta
