Jennifer Chung got her start in music covering popular songs and posting her videos on YouTube. Since her first post in 2007, she’s gained 135,000 followers. But the Korean-born, California-raised singer also writes and records her own music, and she’s releasing a mini-album featuring seven songs called “After All.”

Chung spoke with “City Lights” producer Gabbie Watts about the inspiration for the new album, her 10 years on YouTube and being an Asian-American artist in Atlanta. “After All” is officially released Oct. 13, and Chung will have a release party on Oct. 15 at Gaja in East Atlanta Village.

While Chung was at WABE, she and her guitarist Justin Cho performed her song “Recluse.” You can hear that in-studio session below.
