Historical data shows that veterans have a higher unemployment rate than civilians. In an effort to bridge the gap and match veterans directly with businesses that could use their skills, RecruitMilitary is hosting the Atlanta Veterans Job Fair.
The event is slated for Feb. 8 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature more than 40 employers.
Veterans, military spouses, transitioning military and members of the National Guard and the Army Reserve are encouraged to attend.
