With an indie-rock sound peppered with folk and country vibes and vocals that can bite and soothe all in one go, Atlanta-based band Neighbor Lady has caught on quickly in the local music scene.
Only a year ago, the four-piece band had not one recording. Last Friday, they released their first album “Maybe Later.” And this Friday Neighbor Lady will headline their first album release party at 529 in East Atlanta Village.
“I’m just happy that we can actually have some music out into the world and we don’t have to be like, ‘Sorry, we don’t have anything you can listen to’,” singer and guitarist Emily Braden told “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes.
