King of Pops, an ice-cold, rainbow-flavored feather in Atlanta’s cap, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. It’s an example of what can happen when the right person with the right attitude and a great idea gets fired from their day job.
That’s how co-founder and CEO Steve Carse began his King of Pops experience, and now the Atlanta-born brand is a beloved mainstay throughout the Southeast. Now, Carse wants to share a little more about that “right attitude” that helped King of Pops take off – in his debut book, “Work is Fun: Seven Ways a Successful Ice Pop Company Makes Work Meaningful and How You Can Too.”
“While I’m having a lot of fun, I can’t say that everyone is having as much fun as me and I wanted to change that, so I think this is a way to hold myself accountable,” he said.
