ATLANTA — MARTA named a new general manager and CEO on Thursday.

MARTA attorney Jonathan Hunt has been named the interim CEO following the unexpected retirement of Collie Greenwood on July 17. Former MARTA CEO Keith Parker will be part of a team advising him. MARTA intends to search for a permanent replacement for Greenwood.

Greenwood left due to a question about his immigration status, Decaturish media partner Atlanta News First reported. Greenwood is Canadian.
