Over $450K raised in GoFundMe campaign for family of Georgia teacher killed in prank

The loved ones of a Georgia teacher accidentally killed during a student prank are continuing to receive national attention and support, with over $450,000 raised in a GoFundMe campaign for the family.

Forty-year-old Jason Hughes, a math teacher at North Hall High School, died Friday after being taken to a local hospital.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, a group of five students unspooled rolls of toilet paper on trees outside Hughes’ home at 11:40 p.m. Friday night.
