Atlanta’s dance scene is vibrant and eclectic, and we are honored to highlight some of the many local dancers that move us with their movements in our ongoing series “Speaking of Dance.”

This edition highlights Atlanta choreographer and dancer Patsy Collins. “The nonphysical concepts that I explore in my choreography are often related to emotions or mental states of being that are challenging to address or exist within,” Collins said.

“My hope is that through my choreography work, I can offer audiences a way in and a way to experience emotion in a different way.”

In this segment, choreographer Patsy Collins is dancing to “Moonlight” by Travis Lake. More information about Collins is available on Instagram here.
