When conductor Robert Spano is on the Symphony Hall podium, it feels like a homecoming. The Atlanta Symphony Music Director Laureate returns for a two-week residency with the orchestra beginning May 9.
Spano will perform with renowned pianist Garrick Ohlsson at Atlanta Symphony Hall on May 9 and 11. He joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk about the programs and was recently appointed as the music director of the Washington National Opera.
More information about his “Rite of Spring” concert on May 16 and 18 is available here.
