In the face of catastrophe, artists of Ukraine show inspiring resilience.

With its dancers and creators displaced from their war-torn home country, the Grand Kyiv Ballet nevertheless brings us a new production of the classic ballet “Giselle,” stopping March 15 at Atlanta Symphony Hall along an ambitious 60-city tour of the United States — the first of its kind for this young ballet company.

In this interview, “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes speaks with founder, director and principal dancer Oleksander “Alex” Stoianov, and principal dancer Kateryna Kukhar about the extraordinary feat their Grand Kyiv Ballet represents.
