In WABE’s series “Atlanta’s Savory Stories,” our food contributors Akila McConnell, culinary historian, and Chef Asata Reid bring us histories and recommendations from Atlanta’s diverse culinary landscape. “Pizza was such a novelty that the Atlanta Constitution provided a definition of pizza for Atlanta’s citizens,” McConnell said.
