Atlanta Symphony Orchestra cellist reflects on 50 years of WABE broadcasts

Cellist Daniel Laufer won a section position with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the tender age of 18.

He has been with the Atlanta Symphony for 34 years as associate principal and is now also acting principal cellist for the orchestra.

The musician has served under three different music directors here and joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to reflect on his career and talk about 50 years of ASO broadcasts on WABE.
