Courtney Curtis loves to sew. The second-generation Georgia Tech grad got her first sewing machine when she was nine years old, and she recently designed the dress she wore to her graduation earlier this month.
Curtis, who majored in biomedical engineering, now plans to use her passions for both sewing and biomedical engineering to create medical apparel.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” she talked with show host Rose Scott about her academic journey and a project that allowed her to create a more inclusive cleaning coverall.
