In many gardens, spring begins with daffodils.

These early bloomers are the stars at Gibbs Gardens, the 376-acre botanical garden in Ball Ground, Georgia, that proudly maintains the largest daffodil display in the world.

Gibbs Gardens founder Jim Gibbs sits down with Lois Retizes on “City Lights” to talk about the joy of spring daffodils and the creation of his extraordinary public garden.
