On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature alternative R&B artist Wiley From Atlanta.
Wiley started making music in middle school, writing raps and recording verses without beats.
“I am motivated and inspired by my family, relationships in my life, by my environment [Atlanta] and by the South,” he said. “I think it’s hard to grow up here and not be influenced by this environment, especially if you make art.”
