At Empire Arts, the all-women-owned and operated tattoo studio and art gallery in Kirkwood, colorful work covers the walls as well as the people. This weekend, they’ll host the opening of “Return to Coda,” a new solo exhibition and collection of original work by surrealist painter and illustrator Tim Lee.

In this interview, the Atlanta-based artist joined “City Lights” senior producer Kim Drobes, along with the curator of Empire Arts Gallery, Brandi Smart, to speak more about the exhibit.

“Return to Coda” opens at Empire Arts Gallery this Saturday, June 3, and more information is available here.
