StoryCorps: Allan Ripans and Holly Witten

In the late 1960s, Allan Ripans was a newcomer to Atlanta with a corporate job, a mortgage, and a family, including two small children.

He also had a lifelong dream.

For his recent 80^th birthday, his daughter Holly Witten invited him to StoryCorps to ask how he decided to put it all on the line, in order to go after his dream job.
