There is tremendous excitement leading up to the Atlanta Dream’s matchup against the Indiana Fever.
The game has been moved to State Farm Arena to accommodate the larger crowd. The rise in WNBA anticipation is being credited to the “Caitlin Clark Effect,” one of the new star players for Indiana.
Ahead of the big game, WABE Southside reporter DorMiya Vance joined “Closer Look” to preview the game and discussed the recent surge in ticket sales, the type of season the Dream is having so far, and how the WNBA has handled recent sexism and racism.
