Metro Atlanta nonprofit organization Youth Villages is expanding its Intercept program to Rockdale, Douglas and Paulding Counties. The program provides family-based therapy and other therapeutic care.
Tanya Anderson, the executive director of Youth Villages Georgia, and Jameta Wheeler, the state manager for In-Home Services at Youth Villages, were guests on Monday’s edition of “Closer Look.”
They talked with show host Rose Scott about the mental health challenges Georgia youth faced before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. They also shared more details about Youth Villages’ new pilot contract with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Development Disabilities.
